Comment by Josie Rose Duncan on May 1, 2013 at 9:52am Thank You so much Allijah, I am really glad you said that and pointed that out, it is exactly what i was going for. The uncomfortable feeling during those moments of which you have no control at all of what is going on in your head! Thank you also for the compliments, much appreciated !
Comment by Allijah Motika on April 22, 2013 at 3:54pm This song is really nice. I'm not sure if I'm a huge fan of the word ooze in the chorus, it's a kind of uncomfortable word for a song but if that's what you're going for then it works perfectly! You have a lovely voice and your lyrics are beautiful
Comment by Neil Quillen on March 26, 2013 at 12:15pm This is excellent. Really nice singing! The clarsach gives the song a really unique quality.
Comment by Josie Rose Duncan on January 6, 2013 at 7:24am Wow thank you so much @Leslie! Yes, and I immensely appreciate this! I am currently not at home but will be later today so I will try to upload my video's to the seven ages and I will get my brother to help me.
Yes I am 17, I am in my last year of high school and just starting my auditions for further education hopefully in Musical Theater, but I also wish to continue recording/performing acoustic songs and my own songs outside from this.
Thank you very much for your comments & interest, That is very kind! I really love to sing in different styles.
I will do one of those suggestions with the clarsach tomorrow as they are absolutely great suggestions and I will try them out first and then upload the best one! :) again, thank you!

Comment by Leslie Stifelman on January 5, 2013 at 12:31am Dear Josie:
You know I've been listening to your latest posts with your clarasch - your original song and Across the Universe. What a unique and special musician you are. A very clear vocal presence and point of view. You are the real deal Josie - a real artist. Tell me more about where you are in your life - you are 17 correct still in what we think of as High School in America - and what your future plans are.
Its such a special thing you are doing, presenting yourself vocally with such a refined instrumental accompaniment. And because the range of your vocal abilities are so profound - remember we know you can really belt from your work in the Musical Theater group - there are many directions you will be able to take in the future. How fantastic!
I would suggest for our SEVEN AGES project that you go to AGE TWO the I WANT SONG and try one of the songs in the Dig Deeper section like MUCH MORE or I DREAMED A DREAM or LOVE I HEAR or CORNER OF THE SKY and style them with an accompaniment from your clarasche. THIS WOULD BE AMAZING! Remember it is YOUR interpretation of the song - doesn't have to be a replica of the original.
We can talk further about other technical or vocal things but for now - JUST KEEP SINGING FOR US!
All best, Leslie
