Personal Conversations with Musical America's Musicians of the Year

READ | WATCH: The publication Musical America named its musicians of the year, including three Carnegie Hall artists featured in the following videos. Gustavo Dudamel, man of the year, is an artistic advisor for Carnegie Hall's Voices from Latin America Festival and speaks about becoming a conductor. Joyce DiDonato, vocalist of the year, is a regular soloist on the Carnegie Hall stage and tells us about her debut performance there. Finally, Wu Man, instrumentalist of the year, talks about breaking onto the scene in the USA with her relatively unknown instrument, the pipa, and working with other artists. Read more about the honorees here.
