Creative Immersions Launch - Bringing real world music experience to YOUR school

Remember our Songwriter Series featured writer Elizabeth Eckert? (you can check out our last interview with her here).  Well, we're excited about a new program she's just launched which brings her original songs to high school students throughout the country.  Creative Immersions (www.CreativeImmersions.com) takes nationally-recognized faculty from Vanderbilt University, professional studio musicians, vocalists, and sound design experts into schools and pairs them with the raw talent of teens.  Put them together for a unique and fun artistic immersions over three days, and the result is an impressive performance of professionals and students side-by-side for the whole school.  Check out the Creative Immersions team and their work with Holy Innocents' Episcopal School in Atlanta, GA here:

What do you think of Elizabeth's new idea? Would you like songwriters and professional musicians coming into your school? Do you have choir, band, or orchestra friends you can play with and learn each other's songs?
