Uploading vids~

how do you upload your vids?

it seems that everytime i record a vid, although it's only 2mins, the size is always above 100MB.

i've tried uploading it to youtube first, then embed it here, but sometimes the uploading process hangs around the 78-84%

is there a program that you use to compress the size?
