When Writing Becomes Hard

How many of you have all these ideas running through your head and just don't know how to put it on paper? I go through this sometimes and I don't know what to do. I find myself sitting alone with a notebook and pen and all these amazing ideas for songs and then what???? Nothing!!! I have learned to just start with one idea and see where it takes me. What do you do when writing becomes hard for you?
