Arranging Ellington Results

Congratulations to Michael Conrad for his winning submission to the Arranging Ellington project! Our review panel, which included Darcy James Argue and members of the Carnegie Hall staff, was impressed by the depth and inventiveness of all of the submissions, but Michael’s arrangement of “Come Sunday” was particularly remarkable. Trombone teachers in NY area (near manhattan)!!

I've receive my new horn several weeks ago and have begun the process of relearning some fundamentals. There is such a wealth of information available on this site, but I don't know exactly where and how to best prioritize my learning. I believe a good instructor is my best option for a firm foundation (including motivation).
