The film score project is intended for composing on paper (or digitally), so no need for performers. you can upload a midi or audio clip from your computer. The winning composition will be performed and recorded by players here in New York. Check out software like Finale, Sibelius, and Noteflight for easy composing.
Otherwise, you could dig into some of the conversations in the Songwriting group - be a leader, share media, thoughts, articles, whatever you like. There will be a big songwriting project starting in a little while, so stay tuned.
You might also like the Musical Theater project going on. The Seven Ages. Try a new genre out, eh?
