Hi Samuel, and congrats on becoming a finalist!!

I'm Deidre, a pianist/singer/songwriter/mentor here to provide support and encouragement over the next few months. Can't wait to hear more of your music!

I completely enjoyed your video (having lived through Hurricane Sandy I also really appreciated being able to enjoy a hurricane-related song :)). The textures of the keyboard, guitar, harmonica, voice...they all worked together seamlessly. There were a few surprising chords in there as well which made me sit up and take notice (and as we all know, hurricanes can be very surprising!)

Please reach out whenever you like with any comments, questions, etc. You can hear my music by checking out my profile. I'll be adding new content throughout the season.

I hope you'll do the songwriting prompts for the next couple of months. This first one is: Who are you as a songwriter?

Happy writing!
