My favourite violinist is Jascha Heifetz. I also love Yehudi Menuhin, David Oistrakh, Isaac Stern, and James Ehnes. Some of my favourite composers include Vivaldi, Schubert, Saint-Saëns, Shostakovich, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, and Bach. My biggest influence and inspiration in my violin growth would be my teacher Lena Cambis, I not only admire her as an amazing violinist and teacher, but also as an incredible woman.
More about me:
Besides my love for classical music, I enjoy listening to acoustic folk music from the 60-70's, including many singer-songwriters such as Joni Mitchell, Nick Drake, Todd Rundgren, Carole King, and James Taylor. I love traveling and exploring new cultures. My favourite academic subjects are history and social sciences such as philosophy, psychology, and sociology. I am a vegetarian and love animals. In my free time I like to read, hang out with friends, and watch movies. My dream is to get into a top Conservatory and major in violin performance. After graduating I hope to solo as a concert violinist, get a great seat in a top professional orchestra, and eventually open my own music academy!
