My musical instrument(s):
Piano / keyboard, Voice
My other musical interests, styles, and instruments are:
Classical Music (mostly Impressionistic)
I also like blues, bossa nova and (sometimes!) dubstep. I listen to a lot of indie, and I can (sort of) play the harmonium,a traditional Indian folk instrument.
My favorite artists, influences, and inspirations are:
Yann Tiersen, John Mayer, Tchaikovsky, Explosions In The Sky, Jack Johnson, Coldplay, Frederic Chopin, Ludovico Einaudi, Danny Elfman, Oren Lavie. And that's just off the top off my head :D
More about me:
Obsessive compulsive pianist and all-round music geek. I also learn martial arts, and design. Growing up in the catapultic and confusing ethnic background of India, I've been exposed to a lot of different music styles. I love travelling, and trying out new things.
An avid reader, I happen to love Haruki Murakami and manga, as well as the usual Sidney Sheldon, F. Scott Fitzgerald and the likes. I also love non-fiction and history, and am seen frequenting the history section of the library.
If you see me ditzing around the place, don't be afraid to say hi and strike up a conversation!
