How do you sell your song? - question from a newbie

Hi songwriters,I'm a newbie in the songwriting world, so pls bear with me with my elementary level questions..What's the process for "selling" a song?I mean, after you wrote a song, you have the score and lyrics written down, do you then find someone sing and record it then put the recorded music online somewhere? or you send a CD to someone? How do you protect your copyright? Thanks!!!!!!LiuqingSee More
