- I studied Western classical music and opera for many years, and while I still utilize my training, I am now involved in more experimental music making, and even acting. For the past 4 years I have been an actress with the Workcenter of Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards. At the Workcenter I worked with songs of tradition from West Africa, Haiti, and the south of the United States. I also play the flute and the accordion, and I just started experimenting with an autuharp which I inherited from my grandmother.
