Profile Information

I am a:
Student
My school is:
Brooklyn Technical High School
My style(s) of music:
A cappella, Choral, Folk, Indie, Musical Theater, Rock
I am interested in:
Ethnomusicology, Making Music Videos, Multimedia Projects, Performing, Writing Lyrics
My musical instrument(s):
Electric Bass
My favorite artists, influences, and inspirations are:
So many! I love Bob Dylan & Phil Ochs, which is the kind of folksy, music-of-the-people stuff I love, but also a lot of more recent music. Recently I've been listening to a lot of Iron & Wine, Death Cab For Cutie, The Shins, John Vanderslice. I like lyric-dependant music, because I respect the poetry of it. I also love the dialogue that each of those groups creates with the audience in their songs.
More about me:
Im just this guy, you know?
I do a few things well and a lot of things okay. Most of these things are musical, but some are different forms of poetry.
