My other musical interests, styles, and instruments are:
I enjoy performing the styles of Jazz, Musical Theater, and R&B the most, although I also perform in Classical styles. Scatting, in the style of Jazz specifically, is a specialty of mine that I very much enjoy.
My favorite artists, influences, and inspirations are:
I am lucky to have grown up listening to a wide range of wonderful and eclectic music. As a child, some of my favorite artists were The Staple Singers, Dinah Washington, Rosemary Clooney,Patti LaBelle, and Nina Simone. Today, I still enjoy a wide range of music, but a few of my favorite artists from a very long list are Lauren Hill, Amy Winehouse, Aretha Franklin, D'Angelo, Leon Bridges, and Queen Latifah.
