Thanks, Damon! :-) That's awesome that we will probably get to work together. I'm going to do the Broadway Dreams casting audition tomorrow. They are letting me audition in Atlanta since I live here. Can't wait!!!
We all thought you sounded great. I'm glad you thought it was all helpful. It seems you are just at that tipping point of getting a good role in a show. Your question about union vs. non union was a good one. We are going to have someone spell that out again soon - by early next week probably. But I loved Tara's final advice to you, about finding a good job and not worrying about the union issue as much, maybe some lead roles in tours, regional theater, or non-equity, and start to fill up your resume. You have alot of vocal talent! Hopefully the agent you are with feels the same way. Maybe you can get yourself to one of Tara's calls soon!
Oh, that's cool that you will be an Intern! I guess I just was wondering if you had any tips about things "to do" or "to not do" when applying since you know the program so well. But I actually took the comments I got from people here about my performance of "Electricity" and I practiced and taped it again to send to BD. I was really thankful to get the comments on my video!!
I am applying to Broadway Dreams Summer Intensive in Philadelphia and Leslie suggested that I talk to you since you have been there before and are going to be there this time, right?? That would be so cool if I got in and we could work together. My application is ready to submit, but do you have any last minute tips for me? Thank you!! :-) P.S. I loved your Carmina Burana!!!
