Song is simply the flight of words on sound but, by truly performing a song to it's fullest you can have the power to tell a story and story-telling is what I love to do more than anything in the world.

Anything and everything that touches an aspect of our life can be an influence. I am influenced by artists who have no fear and do not let anything stop them in reaching their goals.

Some classes are open to non-theatre majors, but not all. You'd have to speak to your advisor to see what would fit into your schedule. You might also want to set up meetings with the head of each program that you are applying for, to ensure that you are on the right track with your audition and to try to make the class you are taking apply to your credits if you were to transfer into a theatre program. Let me know if you have any other questions! :)
Hi Ben! How exciting! I hope to see you there. I think it's really important to pick material that you really feel connected to and that you think shows your personality. When you get to Pace, there are student run theater organizations that put on several shows that you can audition for. I suggest taking advantage of that and getting involved because it will help you to get to know the students and faculty in the program. Also, take any acting class that you can, so you can familiarize yourself with the program and their expectations. It's important to feel comfortable and when Spring comes along, you can make a decision about whether or not you want to audition at that point. I hope this helps! Feel free to ask me any other questions!!
