Comment by Leslie Stifelman on May 20, 2012 at 11:28pm @ Katherine You should act out this song the exact same way you would any song you are singing no matter what genre it is from. Lady Gaga is a great case in point. SHE IS ACTING her songs, if not they wouldn't be nearly as effective. You must tell a story no matter what you are doing, communicate emotion and take your audience on a journey. If you do this you don't need choreography I don't think. Be authentic to what you are saying and I think the rest will come. Make sense?
Good Luck and post what you are doing if you want feedback before the event!
Comment by Alexa Politis on May 19, 2012 at 9:12pm Hello Leslie and Rodger! This is my most recent video upload and can't wait to hear feedback on it! I was unable to correct the orientation of the video but here it is! Talk to you soon!

Comment by Jordan Nelson on May 19, 2012 at 5:01pm @leslie I know you asked a while ago for a video of my audition at home because my audition video had too much echoing. Here it is: It's not the best but I finally got my cam fixed so I wanted to immediately do it
Comment by Katherine Dahm on May 19, 2012 at 3:35pm @Leslie Yes we have seen this!! :) Were planning on doing a lot of improv with it and harmonies. They never told us a time limit and our audition song was about the same length of You and I! So I'm not really sure! Thank you so much for your input! We'll post a video as soon as we can.
I also had another question. When acting out this song I'm not sure exactly what to do. With Show tunes it's a lot easier to act out, but with this i usually just dance(bop a little up and down and smile) a little because I don't want it to look boring but I don't know if that would look weird. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you!
Comment by Sara Joanne Parker on May 19, 2012 at 12:31am I finally got a full song uploaded.
i would love any comments or advice on what i can do better
